IMDB rating: 6.50 Plot: Lucas is a promising kid, bright, inquisitive, knowledgeable, industrious, but for a boy aged 14 those qualities don’t count for much socially, his daily life in high school is a brave but hopeless struggle against cruel ridicule (nicknamed ‘leukoplakia’) and abuse on account of his frail figure, ‘miniature’ size and athletic ineptitude, while any demonstration of precocious erudition is frowned upon by his ignorant, dumber peers and seniors, fortunately with one remarkable exception: the studly football team captain, generally known as Cappie, gallantly protects the ’shrimp’ and as soon as he gets to know Lucas appreciates his mind and courage, eager to learn from him. The arrival of an attractive new girl in his school and neighborhood proves a mixed blessing: Maggie becomes his best friend and companion, admiring his many talents, but inevitably she soon falls for Cappie the other way, so now his ‘big brother’ and protector seems little Lucas’s rival, however hard the hunk tries to stay friends… |

Ghost Whisperer fans! help me out pls?
I just began watching the show, and i love it. Mostly im watching re-runs on syfy and we. but i just started watching the new episodes and im confused about the Jim/Sam thing. can melinda see him as he normally looked or does she see him as sam lucas, and what about everyone else. plus why did they push the season up by 5 yrs? any info is welcome thanks very much!
what i want to know is if he is seen as Sam Lucas, or Jim Clancey because in the fifth season he looks the way he always does he’s played by the same actor so is he seen the same and if so why?? because Jim is really dead right so his body is gone?
Melinda sees ghosts. Sam is not a ghost even though Jim is in his body. I hope that helps. They did the 5 year jump to use Melinda’s sons and his superior powers in the storyline. It would take too long to build if they left him an infant.
